It was a classic California weekend at the Fresno Gun Show, February 4-5, 2022.
The weather was ideal and lines were long with eager shoppers. People gathered from all over the state. Dan Gumbert “GunShow Dan” WI, joined by Alison Moon RC/DC and Rusty Moon VA, set up a petition table to greet the crowds.
Convention of States was well received at the event. Fellow patriots were eager to sign their name in support of federal restraint, fiscal restraint, and term limits. The gratifying event of the day was the interest of teens and young adults. They were interested in hearing about the Constitution and the Article V process. They were engaged and wanted to know more. Dan made sure to give a pocket copy of the Constitution to them and others that visited the booth. The small gesture was well received.
Dan had enlarged a map of the Convention of States progress. This visual surprised many and helped to seal the deal. People were unaware of how widespread the effort for an Article V Convention of States is.
Rusty Moon shared, “Informing others that we do have a voice and plan, brings them hope for tomorrow.”
