Florida fun in the sun with the Convention of States team

Published in Blog on May 01, 2018 by Nancy Suits

The Florida team was on an event roll in April. Volunteer leaders from across the state held many events and activities, and we wanted to share the list with you.

With our new Events Coordinator Bonnie Corbett, we are going to see more events across the great state of Florida than ever before.

Did you know you can get news about upcoming Florida events coming up by logging into our website? Please sign into our website for Florida content and check out what is happening in other states as well.

You can also follow us on Facebook. Sharing our posts helps get the word out. We need more patriots to join us and hear about our plan.

April 5: St. Lucie County COS Townhall with Brenda MacMenamin.

April 9: WSQF Radio Show COS segment with Manny Cambo and Ed Vidal.

April 13: Segment on National Radio Show with John Lofgren: Capt Matt Bruce

April 15: Celebrate America Event: West Palm Beach (South FL Team )

Guest Speaker: Mark Meckler, event table with info on COS

April 24: Manatee TEA Bradenton Presentation with John Lofgren.

April 26: Radio show segment with John Lofgren on the Countermand Amendment.

April 27: Segment on national radio show with John Lofgren: Capt Matt Bruce.

As of this date, 12 states have passed the resolution. The resolution was passed in Florida in 2014, but that is only one part of the project for our growing team. Next up is updating the delegate selection resolution, going to the convention, and then returning to pass amendments proposed.

We have lots of exciting work ahead of us.
