Day 6: Duty Is Ours, Results Belong to God!
On Wednesday, March 1st, the COSHI team returned for their Capitol Surge Campaign. The team met at the State Capitol for their final Wednesday to educate and persuade Hawai'i Legislators and their staffs to support our 2023 Convention of States resolution which will be filed by March 10th.
L-R: Jack Von Osdol, Donna Von Osdol, Mark White, Rita Kama-Kimura, Jim Ray, Chanara Richmond, Brett Kulbis, Alberto Lono, and Charles Stutz.
This was a bitter sweet day, as many of the team have come to enjoy visiting and talking with the staffers about COS. Many of the staffers have said they'll miss us coming on Wednesdays. We've done our duty at the Capitol, and now with prayer, we leave the results of a future committee hearing to God.
Again, while our team visited the legislative offices and informing them of our pending resolution filing. Mark and Brett visited with our sponsors to get a sense of when they'd be ready to obtain co-sponsors before the filing.

Day 6's key handouts: a history-filled “Constitutional Disinformation” 4-pager and Michael Farris’ updated “Can We Trust the Constitution?” legacy surge article.
A big “Mahalo Nui Loa” (thank you very much) to the whole team for making our Capitol Surge Campaign a huge success. Your efforts to build relationships with the legislators and their staffs was priceless.
Update: On Thursday March 2, Mark was informed our Senate sponsor will file our COS application in the Hawaii Senate on Monday, March 6. So on Friday, March 3, Mark and Brett will be visiting our identified potential co-sponsors' offices to request their signatures on our resolution.
You too can be part of the COS Hawai'i ‘ohana’ by volunteering here, and join us at our next petition signing event the Hawai'i Historic Arms Great Guns gun show March 18th and 19th!
