Though the USA likely has one of the most advanced medical systems in the world, Americans are not being treated with the best medical care in the world.
That should never happen.
With proper treatment, there would not be a high amount of severe COVID cases -- such as those admitted to ICU wards. There are many nations in the world where the amount of severe COVID cases is being kept low, and, at this late stage, it must be presumed that it is because of better treatments.
With stories coming out about families of hospitalized patients demanding better hospital care for their loved ones (Mercy hospital patient died after transfer), it shows the urgency of holding a Convention of States to restrain the federal government.
If the U.S. federal government (with medical directives about which protocols are allowed) will not allow the best medical care -- perhaps because of perverse financial incentives -- then a Convention of States is our way to fight back against that kind of medical tyranny.
Take a look at this chart of the amount of "severe COVID" (patients in ICU) in 15 nations.
It is very disturbing that the richest nation (the USA) is also treating COVID cases very poorly compared to other nations -- so that so many of our cases end up being severe COVID cases (requiring ICU admission).
In one of the most heavily-vaccinated nations, Israel, severe COVID has more than quintipled in just a month's time. It serves as a case-in-point that the government-approved care for COVID (eg., vaccination) is not simply not good enough.
Even more disturbing is the very high rate of vaccinations in Israel coinciding with very high rates of severe COVID. Here is a chart showing weeks when a large share of the Israel population got a vaccine dose, with almost 14% of the entire population vaccinated inside of just one week in early 2021.
And a rough expectation of the amount of severe COVID -- under the assumption that vaccines progressively reduce the amount of severe COVID -- can be superimposed on that chart, like this.
And here is the actual pattern of severe COVID in Israel. Notice how, as the rate of vaccination increases, so does the rate of severe COVID in Israel.
Even if this is not conclusive proof that vaccines are fueling the pandemic instead of dousing it, it is enough evidence to call into question the "one-size-fits-all" government policy on COVID treatments.
The richest nation in the world should be one of the nations with the least amount of severe COVID, such as the other 13 nations in the chart with less than 20 patients in ICU per million -- even at the peak of winter.
One-size-fits-all COVID policy isn't the "only" thing that the federal government is doing wrong, but it is one of the clearest things that the federal government is doing wrong, and people are even needlessly losing their lives because of it.
We desperately need a Convention of States to reverse the growing medical tyranny in the U.S.. Not only Big Pharma, but Big Tech, the Establishment Media, and the Education System all have too cozy of a relationship to the government.
These relationships between corporations and institutions and government harm the typical citizen, who is either left out or is actively preyed upon for profit and control.
A Convention of States can work to reverse ALL of it though. Control of medicine and health care was not granted to the federal government in the U.S. Constitution.
Thomas Jefferson even made fun of the idea of the government regulating medical practices, instead of doctors and patients working together to find the best, patient-centered medicine available.
Government control over medicine was never intended by the founding fathers, and a Convention of States to restore the original intent of the founders could reverse our current path -- where it is clear that people are now needlessly dying.
