Convention of States hits Coronado

Published in Blog on August 29, 2018 by Debra J Oresko

Every American taxpayer owes more than $175,785. That's each taxpayer's share of the $21 trillion national debt, and the U.S. government continues borrowing money, with the cost to be passed on to future generations and no fiscal responsibility in sight.

The bureaucracy’s massive size is powerful, unmanageable, and fights back against limits. More than 80% of Americans from all political parties support term limits for federal officials.

The Founders provided a solution for overgrown, centralized government: Article V. It's the peaceful, legal and constitutional way for citizens and the states to restore their power and self-governance.

On Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6:30pm, Convention of States District Captain and Marine Corps Veteran Lou Oberman will present the Convention of States plan of action and offer the residents of Coronado the opportunity to get involved locally and make a difference nationally.

The public is invited to this free event.

Location: Coronado Public Library, Winn Room, 640 Orange Ave., Coronado, California.
