Save the Date!
This year Convention of States Colorado team has strategically focused on building up its grassroots. We are becoming a force to be reckoned with in Denver! On March 29th we are conducting a Capitol Day and Grassroots Surge.
We are in an election year, and so our advocacy for the Convention of States resolution is ramping up in high gear in order to set us up for success in the 2019 Colorado General Assembly.
Following the advice of Sen. Kevin Lundberg at our Grassroots Workshop at the Independence Institute, we know the time to really make an impact is NOW, before elections have occurred.
What can you do to make an impact?
We will be holding a Capitol Day at the Denver Capitol Building on Thursday, March 29. Our volunteers have arranged scheduled meetings with several important legislators so that supporters can come speak in person with them with assistance from a COS volunteer who is a fellow constituent. We'd like to invite you to come join those meetings!
We will meet on the West Steps of the Capitol Building any any time between 7:30am and 5:00pm. Convention of States Colorado volunteers will be there to equip supporters with what they need before going inside the capitol as they come and go throughout the day.
What if my legislator is not scheduled for a meeting? What if I live too far away or cannot otherwise make it in person?
If your legislator is not listed with a scheduled meeting, or if you live too far away to attend, or if you are unable to attend for any other reason, you can STILL make just as much an impact by taking part in our Grassroots Surge!
How do I sign up?
Click here to sign up to help at the 2018 COS Colorado Capitol Day and Grassroots Surge event! Even if you cannot attend in person that day, there are ways you can help in a significant way. Complete the form and submit for details and instructions.
