Colorado Senator Kevin Lundberg visited a group of over 60 Convention of States Project volunteers at the Independence Institute in Denver on Saturday, February 3rd. At the COS Grassroots Workshop, Sen. Lundberg expressed his sincere support for the Convention of States application under Article V of the US Constitution. He also lent some advice to volunteer activists in attendance on how to interact with legislators.
Lundberg is one of the founding members of the State Legislators' Article V Caucus, an association of state legislators across all 50 states who are supportive of using the states convention route of proposing constitutional amendments.
The Grassroots Workshop effectively doubled the size of the Colorado volunteer team in a single day.
