UPDATE: Idaho's COS Committee Hearing

Published in Blog on February 02, 2018 by Kyle Key

Post updated to reflect changes to the hearing location.

The Convention of States in Idaho has done something that hasn't happened in the Idaho legislature before. In the House State Affairs Committee Meeting last week, the Article V resolution passed the first step in the print hearing, where it was approved for a full committee hearing with a 12-3 vote.

On Wednesday, February 7th, the resolution (now named HCR032) will be up for a crucial full committee hearing vote and you can help.

Register to attend the hearing by clicking here.

Convention of States volunteers and supporters need to show up at 7AM on Wednesday to the Idaho State Capitol (Directions here). Please dress in business casual attire. Also, if you wish to speak, please prepare a 2-3 minute written testimony. Below are directions to EW 40 once you've entered the State Capitol.

Like in the print hearing, the most effective way to send a clear message to our legislators is to show up and wear COS buttons. A powerful image of countless Convention of States patriots filling up the auditorium would speak volumes to the legislators on the committee.

Edmund Burke said, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

This is our chance as patriots to do something good, something that will make history. All things worth fighting for require sacrifice. Do what you can to be at the Idaho State Capitol on Wednesday to defend our faith, our families, our land, and our freedom.
