BREAKING: YouTube Levels Second Strike Against Convention of States for Literally No Reason

Published in Blog on September 15, 2021 by Article V Patriot

The Big Tech oligarchs are coming after the Convention of States movement -- and they aren't even trying to hide it any more.

We just received word that our YouTube channel has received its second "strike" for "medical misinformation." One more strike, and our entire channel will be deleted for good.

We received our first strike back in August when we re-published a Tucker Carlson segment featuring one of our supporters from Indiana, Dr. Daniel Stock.

In that video, Dr. Stock criticized mask mandates and voiced support for alternatives to vaccines, but he didn't say anything that couldn't be backed up by science. We appealed YouTube's decision in that case, but they rejected our appeal.

The latest offending video is even more innocuous. We've watched it dozens of times, and we can't find even a single instance of "medical misinformation."

You can watch it for yourself below. For months, we've been posting all our videos on Rumble, which has so far been immune to the tyranny of Big Tech. If our YouTube channel is taken down without warning, you'll still be able to see our video content on our Rumble channel

At this point, conscious censorship is the only explanation for YouTube's attacks. Nothing in this video would have triggered YouTube's algorithms, so we've concluded that Big Tech is intentionally watching our channel for any excuse to take us off the internet.

In a truly free society, YouTube wouldn't dare practice such blatant censorship. But they know the federal government will give them cover. They know that the Democratic Congress and the Biden Administration is willing and able to protect them from 1st Amendment lawsuits, and in return, YouTube is doing their bidding.

It's time for We the People to stand up and say, "Enough!" The federal government should not have the power to weaponize America's largest corporations against everyday American citizens. They shouldn't have the power to shadow-ban speech they don't like or censor the opinions of the American people.

That's why we're working to call the first-ever Article V Convention of States. The federal government has grown too large and far, far too powerful, but a Convention of States is the ultimate check on that power. It's called and controlled by the states and has the authority to propose constitutional amendments that drastically shrink federal power and return that power where it belongs--with the states and the people.

If the states propose and ratify these amendments, Washington will no longer be able to control every area of American life. They won't be able to protect their allies in Big Tech, and they won't be able to use their armies of bureaucrats to censor our speech. Fifteen states have joined the movement, and over five million Americans have voiced their support.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:

Thank you so much for your service to the people of our district.
