YouTube is working as hard as they can to take down the Convention of States Project channel.
Just a few weeks ago, they removed one of Mark Meckler's BattleCry episodes for nothing more than criticizing Dr. Anthony Fauci's leadership.
Now they're removed yet another video for a similar reason, but this time they gave our channel a "strike." This means that we won't be able to upload, post, or stream any videos for one week. If we receive a second strike, we won't be able to post any content for two weeks, and if we receive a third-strike within the next 90 days, our channel will be entirely removed.
You may be wondering, what was so bad that YouTube is threatening to take down the entire Convention of States channel?
We posted an excerpt from Tucker Carlson's Fox News show in which he interviews a doctor named Daniel Stock who has been critical of the government response to COVID-19.
Dr. Stock wore a Convention of States pin during his interview with Carlson, which is why we posted it on our channel. Dr. Stock says nothing he can't back up with science. He calls attention to the lack of evidence for mask mandates, and he believes the federal government should be focusing on helping Americans build their immune systems--both through vaccine and non-vaccine methods.
That's it. He doesn't criticize Dr. Fauci, claim the vaccines don't work, or say that COVID isn't real. He just asks a few questions and ends the interview.
This obviously doesn't violate YouTube's medical misinformation policy. This is a clear attempt to shut down the Convention of States Project's influence on YouTube, and we're not giving up without a fight.
We've appealed the decision to our Big Tech overlords, but we're also continuing our long standing efforts to migrate to other social media platforms more friendly to free speech and limited government. We've posted the offending video on Rumble, and you can still watch it there.
We're also exploring a variety of additional alternative social media platforms such as MeWe and Parler. These sites don't see as much traffic as the Big Tech giants, which is why we'll maintain a presence on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter for as long as we can. But at some point, our Silicon Valley overlords are coming for the Convention of States movement, and when they do, we'll be ready.
