BREAKING NEWS: FBI Raids Mar-A-Lago, Trump's Home

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided Mar-a-lago, former president Donald Trump’s Florida residence on Monday. Reportedly, the investigation was conducted in search of classified materials the president brought from the White House to his private home.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement on his social media platform Truth Social.

“After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” he continued. He blasted the move as a “weaponization of the justice system.”

The raid was met with widespread criticism, with many accusing the deep state of wielding its agencies against political enemies for unfair, partisan purposes.

“By raiding Pres Trump’s home today, the FBI offered clear & convincing evidence that it is weaponized against the American people and self-government,” tweeted former Trump official Russ Vaught.

“The FBI must be legally and formally dissolved. What happened to President Trump is positively stunning and a mark of unchecked government power,” added commentator Candace Owens. “I no longer recognize the country I live in.”

While details of this raid are still emerging, it is clear that the FBI has become a pawn in the hands of our corrupt federal government. Ironically, this comes at a time when it has been nearly impossible to launch an investigation into President Joe Biden’s scandal-plagued son, Hunter Biden, even as evidence corroborating the accusations against Hunter continues to mount up.

Our government is drunk on power. It isn’t genuinely interested in investigating potential corruption; its purpose is to take out anyone who dares stand in its way.

To put an end to this madness, we need an Article V Convention of States. Our Founders left us this tool for a time when the government would become hopelessly intoxicated with its own corruption.

We are living in that time. Using Convention of States, we can rein in the federal government and drain the swamp once and for all. To participate in this historic effort, sign the petition below!

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention.
