2 Peter 3:17 – “Since you are forewarned of these things (the day of judgment), be careful that you are not led astray by the error of lawlessness and loss of your firm grip on the truth.”
We are in the midst of a culture that no longer believes in absolute truth, accountability to a higher supreme power, and the rule of law. For laws to have any power they must be based on universal absolute truths and there can be no absolute truths without God. This is why the left is doing everything they can to remove God from the public square.
“Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine. Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistance.” – James Wilson, signer of the Constitution.
We are also in the midst of a war of words to “lead astray” people and cause them to “lose their firm grip on the truth. Mothers are now called “people who give birth”; women are now called “menstruating people”; an open southern border that has seen five to ten million illegal immigrants enter our country in the last two years is called “secure.”
Another wasted $700 billion of taxpayer money spent on leftist pie-in-the-sky schemes is called the “Inflation Reduction Act”; children are told they can be any gender they want by being chemically and surgically changed with “gender-affirming care”; and men can marry men, women can marry women with the backing of the federal “Respect for Marriage act” (and any organization or individuals who question the morality of this run the risk of retribution at the federal level). The list goes on and on…
Truth is no longer absolute but subjective and in the confusion, the ruling party of the day sets the standards and ultimately controls the narrative and how people think. This is aptly described by the new buzzword “cancel culture,” which is what happens to anyone who questions that narrative or puts forth an alternate narrative.
The problem with all this, according to Jesus, is “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” – John 8:33
Therefore this attack on truth is ultimately an attack on the freedom of the American people!

Any government that goes about to establish its own truths in opposition to those divine truths which God and conscience dictates have strayed far beyond the bounds of its original mandate.
It is time for “We the People” to call for an Article V Convention of States and rein our federal government back in!
