TEACH FREEDOM
Arm your students with the free TEACH FREEDOM program to learn about the true founding of our great country.
The mission of the Convention of States Action Teach Freedom program, is to educate Idaho students about our early American history; the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, and the principles of our Founding Fathers. We hold two writing contests per year. One in September to honor Constitution Day and the second in the spring with a subject designed to inspire students to learn about our nationhood and its founding documents.
In addition to writing contests, the Teach Freedom program offers historical date observances/public readings and Constitution courses to Idaho students in public, private, charter, church and home schools. It is our goal to instruct our future leaders about the significance of our founding and instill pro-American values for the development of responsible citizens. The curriculum will be expanded to provide entertaining and educational courses to young children as well.
Our Teach Freedom Program is comprised of COS volunteers who have a passion to provide school students with quality instruction about how the U.S. Constitution was formed, what it means and how it applies in today’s culture.
We welcome volunteers to assist in teaching our courses, reading books of virtue to children in libraries and sharing our mission with parents and school-groups who would utilize our curriculum and support our efforts.
