All faith leaders and believers are welcome and encouraged to join ranks with other COS supporters with a shared worldview. Whether a pastor, priest, rabbi, or layman, each has a unique sphere of influence to restore our culture to that of our godly Founders.
Almighty God has blessed these United States of America as no other country. The responsibility to pass that legacy on to our posterity and to present it as a model for other peoples falls on us.
Several decades back, Charles Colson and Richard John Neuhaus warned:
We affirm that before God and the law all are equal, “endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” In recent years it has become increasingly manifest that these truths cannot be taken for granted. Indeed, there is ominous evidence of their rejection in our public life and law.
In the years since “A Statement of Christian Conscience and Citizenship” was signed, the usurpations of the federal government have only increased and the consensus serving as the basis for our American freedoms has further deteriorated.
May your faith be bold and courageous. Join these well-known leaders below and fellow believers in calling for an Article V convention of the states to restore the constitutional structure and limitations of powers envisioned by the Founding Fathers.
And most important, pray for humility and repentance throughout our country. God still resists the proud.
