This wall was created to honor passed loved ones whose memorial funds have raised $5,000 or more for the cause of liberty.
We hope that their shining example of patriotism will inspire many others to dedicate their lives to protecting the sovereignty of the American people for future generations.
"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty." - John F. Kennedy
WALL OF PATRIOTS
James M. Brayshaw Jr., 2018
It is my honor to present to you the memory of my favorite American patriot and veteran, My Father; Commander James M. Brayshaw Jr. My father was extremely proud to be an American and always discussed what it meant and the duties that accompanied the honor. So intentional was his appreciation for his country that when writing notes on his life for his own obituary, he had written his name and identity as “An American from 18 June 1928 to _________ and had left it blank. We can now say that he was an American from 18 June 1928 to 10 December 2018.
Seeing the big picture and need to right our American ship, Dad entrusted Convention of States Action to educate on the Constitutional action necessary. On his commemorative wall, Cmdr. James added shortly before his passing that “protection of country is a citizen’s duty”. (Click here to read more.)
Virginia Neimi, 2018
Virginia Neimi was a woman who displayed patriotism throughout her life and became a grassroots activist at 84 years old. To Virginia, age was merely a number—and her number was one. The power of what one American citizen can do is extraordinary.
Virginia became an activist at 84, when she participated in her first protest rally in DC. She spent almost the last decade of her life dedicated to grassroots causes (9 years and 6 months) and was passionate about calling an Article V Convention of States.
Richard Knapp, 2024
Richard Knapp was a cherished patriot and friend of the Convention of States. COS was important to him, and he believed America needed to use this constitutional solution to save the Republic. When he spoke about it, he teared up as he relayed how much COS meant to him. He contributed his treasure, time, and talent to be an integral part of COS, and he joined the Utah leadership team. When his illness required him to pull back, the COS prayer warriors immediately and continuously prayed for him and his family.
Richard Michael Knapp passed away on March 23, 2024, in Provo, Utah with his family surrounding him. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1993, earning his B.A., MBA, and J.D. He was a natural-born entrepreneur and leader, and always had a love of politics which he saw as an opportunity to change the world for the better. He was very involved in the last few years of his life with local candidates and organizations, like the Convention of States, with which he shared his ideals. Richard loved his country, and the Constitution, and most importantly, he loved God. Richard was a cherished friend and fellow Patriot. His legacy will go on as we carry the torch of liberty in his name in the fight to save the Republic.
