The Emerging Leaders Program is more than just something you put on your résumé. It’s the gateway to a calling; a life-changing experience with ripple effects that very well may impact the country for generations to come.
The rising generation is not a lost cause. Even as the world goes insane and Marxist, anti-American forces wage war on our country, God is raising up a remnant of young people to answer liberty’s call and fight for freedom.
Organizations such as Convention of States and Patriot Academy (with whom COS is proud to partner) invest considerable time, resources, and energy into these emerging leaders, knowing that tomorrow’s fight is in their hands. Convention of States’ internship program exists to cultivate the values and skills needed to win that fight.
“I see such a great need for our generation to be more involved,” said Jackson Allen, last year’s intern coordinator. “Having programs like this that equip that generation to do that, I think, is really important.”
“Freedom is very much under attack,” noted Reagan Green, who will lead this year’s program beginning in September. “We’re seeing the consequences of Communism and socialism creeping in. We’re aware of that, and we want to do everything we can to develop people in the next generation to stop that.”
