It is clear to see that our country, our rights, and our freedoms are all currently under attack by a coalition of establishment elites, leftist radicals, and big-money corrupted officials: the Swamp.
They have a plan to permanently alter our existing form of constitutional government. Their plan involves socialist changes that will not be for the betterment of all; just for those selected few in power.
We see the evidence of their plan with executive orders designed to bypass the normal legislative process; legislative bodies that seek to ram through partisan bills without any debate; and, a judicial system that creates interpretations to expand federal powers rather than limit them.
We are living under a new form of tyranny, where even our state governments are falling under the thumb of an over-reaching federal government.
Much of how your state’s budget is spent is dictated by the whims of the Washington bureaucrats.
Our federal government is no longer accountable to the people it is supposed to represent and it is time to have a plan of our own.
This radical assault on liberty is not going unnoticed.
All across America, like-minded citizens are beginning to wake up to the menace.
They see our children being indoctrinated with radical ideas; and, having their futures mortgaged by unimaginably reckless spending.
There are many thousands of citizen patriots looking for a movement to join.
Convention of States Action provides the answers with both an engaged, enlightened grassroots army as well as a plan for state legislatures to call for an Article V Convention.
This is the one and only solution that is as big as the problem.
Here in Virginia, a birthplace of our democracy, we’ve seen rapid growth of our ‘regiment’ in the COS grassroots army.
Events like regional breakfast chats have shown an increasing attendance, new volunteers, and a commitment to action.
Attendees are often provided with a menu of volunteer activist activities --- a ‘how to guide’ for learning, action items, and ways to engage their local legislators.
Updates to where we stand with our resolution are also provided.
In 2023 our COS resolutions were left in committee by state legislators who were fearful to take action on the problems in Washington, DC.
With this being election year for every senator and delegate in Virginia, we have an opportunity to educate candidates in every district about Convention of States.
Check this link to see where your candidates stand on COS.
If you do not see your candidates at the previous link, then find them at events in your area to talk to them (and the audience) about Convention of States. Then ask him/her to answer the survey. (Directions are detailed at the previous link.)
The hope is that we will gain legislators who will bravely push the COS resolution for Virginia over the finish line in 2024.
