As I'm sure everyone is aware, Virginia has a pretty big election coming up tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2.
Not only will voters cast their ballots to elect their next governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general, but they will also be given the chance to put Virginia one step closer to calling a Convention of States.
In addition to the three statewide offices mentioned above, voters across the commonwealth will be casting their ballots for an individual to represent them in the House of Delegates.
Comprised of 100 members, the chamber is one half of the bicameral state legislature that has the ultimate say on whether to call for an Article V convention.
While our resolution has met significant opposition within the past few years, this week's election gives us a chance to turn things around.
For decades, Virginians and Americans alike have witnessed our federal government run rampant throughout Washington, D.C., carelessly wasting our money and spending our kids into oblivion.
Filled with career politicians and an all-powerful federal bureaucracy, the swamp has never ceased in its relentless pursuit of uncontained power and control over the American citizenry.
But by casting our ballots for pro-COS candidates at the ballot box on Tuesday, Virginians will send a message to the swamp rats in Washington that their out-of-control party is over.
Not only will it allow us to restore the principles of our Constitution to state governance, but it will also put the commonwealth one step closer to joining 15 other states in calling for a Convention of States.
