The American people voted for President Trump because he offered something they hadn't seen in a long time: a more efficient, less corrupt federal government.
Unfortunately, those swamp monsters the President hoped to eliminate have worked their way into this administration, and they're undermining Trump's America-first agenda.
Steve Hilton over at The Next Revolution reports:
The problem is not that lobbyists and big-money corporations try to push their own priorities. That will always happen in a free country.
The problem is that power is centralized in Washington, D.C. This makes it much easier for high-powered lobbyists to influence the entire nation.
We need to decentralize power, and an Article V Convention of States allows us to do just that.
A Convention of States can propose constitutional amendments that put the federal government back in its place. These amendments can limit the power and jurisdiction of federal officials, which will return that power where it belongs: with the states and the people.
That way, big-money corporations and non-elected federal bureaucrats will have to fight a 50-front war in every state -- they'll be much less able to use their power and influence to push their agendas down the throats of the American people.
