For their seventh and last scheduled 2020 session trip to the State Capitol on Wednesday, February 26, the Convention of States Hawaii team again visited legislative offices promoting Convention of States.
Legislators received an updated listing of their district's petition signers, a compelling flyer about retired U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, and last-minute handwritten postcards sent in from constituents.
Handouts provided during the Hawaii Team's last Surge visit provided legislators with real evidence of local support for Convention of States.
Brett and Rita—the "Red Team"—have a hallway encounter with a staff member for Representative Bob McDermott (HD 40) and then proceed to engage in a cordial visit with the Convention of States sponsor's office staff.
Blue Team members Jack and Donna Van Osdol complete their rounds, while Jan Tillmann gets a quick picture with Convention of States sponsor Representative Thomas Brower, HD 22.
