Come to the Grant County Fair, have fun and ring our bell for Liberty. Learn about Convention of States Action, and Article V of our Constitution. Talk with Larry, Dave, and others about our cause.
The Grant County Fair is a perfect occasion to have fun, eat well, and learn a little bit about your civic rights, and how you can exercise them. “Rights” are similar to the health of your body. You need to exercise your body to maintain your health. If you don’t get some form of exercise, you lose muscle, stamina, and energy. We hate to say this, but eventually, in action results in your early death.
Your civic rights are the same. You need to exercise your civic rights, or you will lose them. And our civic life, government and country will die.
With civic rights, it works one person at a time. If enough people exercise their civic rights, our government and country will tend to be in better shape. But if you do not exercise your civic rights, and enough people don’t also, then our government and country will be in trouble.
And America is in trouble.
Our current Federal Budget is way out of balance. And has been for multiple years. We have allowed our bureaucracy and leaders too much in-action. Our Federal Debt is huge. 32 trillion dollars. Let’s have some fun with that number 32,000,000,000. Do you know how long it takes to count to 1 trillion if we allocate one second of time for each number?
It takes 12 full days to count to a million seconds. 31.7 years to count for 1 billion seconds to pass. If you were to count to a trillion, one second at a time, if dedicated, it will take you 31,709 years. If you could live that long!
