Steve Deace drops TRUTH BOMB about coronavirus media coverage

Steve Deace isn't interested in spin. He's interested in facts, and that's exactly what he dropped on the latest episode of COS Live!

In his usual straightforward style, Deace broke down the media bias in coronavirus coverage using widely available statistics and data. He also criticized the government response to the virus and showed how states without mask mandates are actually doing much better than states that have mandates in place. (Jump to 4:15.)

If the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it's that government officials, politicians, and bureaucrats aren't any more informed or competent than We the People. That goes doubly for the mainstream media, who intentionally distort the facts to match their political agenda.

We don't need any more government control. We need to limit the size and scope of government and restore power to the American people -- and that's exactly what the Convention of States Project is all about.

As Deace says later in the interview, an Article V Convention of States is the best solution to the worst problems in the federal government. A Convention is called and controlled by the people, acting through the states, and can propose constitutional amendments that limit Washington's power, impose fiscal restraints, and mandate term limits.

Over 4 million Americans are on board, and 15 states have joined the movement. Sign the petition below to add your name to the list!

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention for proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington, DC.

I support the Convention of States Project; a national effort to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of Article V Convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here:

I ask that you support the Convention of States Project and consider becoming a co-sponsor of the resolution. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have: or (540) 441-7227.

Thank you so much for your service to the people of our district.

Respectfully, [Your Name]
