The Stafford County Board of Supervisors voted to officially denounce the teaching of critical race theory (CRT) and the 1619 Project during a board meeting on Tuesday. The vote was unanimous at 6-0, with one board member not present.
"BE IT RESOLVED by the Stafford County Board of Supervisors on this the 21st day of September, 2021, that it be and herby does denounce the teaching of the 1619 Project and critical race theory (CRT) and related
principles in Stafford County Public Schools," the resolution reads.
In addition, schools are prohibited from requiring students to provide their preferred pronouns, with the resolution also providing the board with the power to review all school board appropriation requests and block any that fund these various "woke" policies.
While not currently taught in Stafford classrooms, CRT and the 1619 Project have become national issues lately, as school districts across the country attempt to indoctrinate students with these two tiers of Marxism-based propaganda.
While CRT attempts to brainwash children into viewing every aspect of life through the lens of race, the 1619 Project attempts to distort and falsify American history.
In essence, both serve to tear apart the fabric of American civil society, while providing the state with the chaos and division it needs to claim more power and control over the American people.
At Convention of States Action (COSA), we seek to root out this American Marxism and fight it in the open.
Unlike traditional politicians who'd rather play defense on this issue, we at COSA have decided to reject the status quo and play offense.
Much like the countless, patriotic parents across the nation fighting to end the indoctrination in our classrooms, COSA seeks to embrace the power of grassroots activism to confront the biggest problems facing our country head on.
