Children do not have any voice regarding federal or local policy making, yet they are subject to the ill effects just as equally as the positive. So, who will speak for the voiceless?
Meet Kelly Robbins...Kelly (who lives in Ocala, FL) is an Air Force veteran, self-employed medical professional, and volunteer for Convention of States. Kelly is taking the tenets "to reach, teach, and activate" implored by COS not only to heart, but directly to the board of education in her local community.
Kelly’s concerns are the children’s health, the federal and local overreach of enabling and enforcing what many feel is bad policy. Her motivation stems from “getting local and getting involved.”
Kelly receives support from her regional Captain “Coach Thomas” and is “on fire” to be a voice who speaks on behalf of elementary children being forced to wear masks throughout the school day.
Life Site News lists forty-seven studies confirming the ineffectiveness of masks for COVID and thirty-two more confirming their negative health effects.
The overreach of government lies in the fact that the science regarding immunity is being manipulated and re-framed by the CDC and the media. Further cases of federal overreach are evidenced recently by the President's stand against our Governor DeSantis’ executive order of no mask mandates.
Governor DeSantis has threatened to withhold pay from local school boards who are choosing to defy this order, while the President has stated he will neutralize that action by providing funds...somehow!
This brings into question not only government overreach in our education system, but the efficacy of fiscal responsibility. Our nation is 28.3 trillion dollars in debt. The Senate passed another trillion dollars infrastructure bill, and now may pay off local school boards with borrowed money we don’t have!
In these dire times, Kelly will speak her “truth to power” on September 14th at 5:30 to the school board in Ocala, Florida. This event will be live streamed on YouTube.
As you can see, this event is many faceted... It is addressing health risks of children, the enabling of bad policy by local school boards through federal support, and the diminishing right of freedom to choose. After all, why is it asking too much for parents to decide the manner of how their children are raised, and where the responsibility begins and ends of federal government in doing so?
Superheroes don’t require capes or costumes to affect change, they only need to speak their “truth to power” and ACT!
The reason Convention of States exists is to provide a solution to the issues of government overreach, fiscal responsibility, and term limits.
