Kimberly Snyder is a former intern with the national Convention of States Project. She is currently a graduate student at Bob Jones University, majoring in Intercultural Studies. Kimberly has remained a dedicated COS volunteer as she pursues her advanced degree. She recently participated with the block-walking team to gain local support with encouraging her senator to vote in favor of the South Carolina COS resolution.
Kimberly is another example of a South Carolina youth taking charge of their future freedom and liberty. Her testimony was not only heart-felt, it was also a powerful plea for the senate panel to preserve freedom for generations to come.
As you are well aware at this point, supporters of this resolution are in favor of limiting terms for Congress, limiting federal debt, and limiting overreach of the federal government on the states.
What you may not realize however, is that supporters of this resolution are also supporters of you.
The country we want for our children and grandchildren where a Convention of States can happen to rein in the federal government is a country with more power at the state local, and individuals levels.
We are here because we trust you far more than we trust the bureaucrats and lobbyists, and people in (Washington) D.C. to legislate how we live our daily lives.
We have voted for you to protect freedoms and bring this resolution to you today because it is the most impactful way to not only protect our freedoms, but of those of the children coming after us.
The 49,000+ South Carolina COS supporters are urging the Senate to make South Carolina the eighteenth state joining Wisconsin and Nebraska who became states number 16 and 17 respectively on January 25th and 28th this year.
Join Kimberly and let’s work together to save her future and the future of generations to come.
