This Montana committee hearing was filled with inspiring testimony, and none more so than this one.
One Convention of States volunteer explained that her parents escaped East Germany and came to the United States when they were 18 years old. She was born in the U.S., and today three of her children serve in the armed forces.
"I love America," she said.
It's this love of her country that prompted her to join the Convention of States Project.
"One side is taking over and the other side is being silenced, she said. "I can't be silent. I want our Constitution upheld and protected."
"We need our states in control, not the federal government."
To save the Constitution from the overreach of the federal government, we must look to the states and the Constitution and call a Convention of States.
