Convention of States Action is excited to host our friend Rob Carson at the Olathe Community Center at 6:00 PM, July 19, 2023. Rob will be bringing his wit and commentary to address the current state of freedom of speech, where it is headed and what we can do about it.
Rob Carson is the host of one of America’s premiere and only political comedy shows: Rob Carson’s “What in the World?” on Newsmax. Rob also hosts one of America’s fastest growing and highest rated political commentary shows, The Newsmax Daily with Rob Carson. Rob is a talk radio host who’s done time on the biggest talk stations in places like Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco, Dallas, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Nashville, Phoenix, Minneapolis, NYC and Baltimore. Rob is also a nationally syndicated comedy writer who’s political satire has been a staple on the Rush Limbaugh Program for over two decades through five Presidential administrations. Rob also is an accomplished video and audio podcaster talking politics, pop culture, comedy and oddly enough, food! He also has extensive experience as a cooking/lifestyle video host and amateur chef. Rob has a line of politically incorrect t-shirts/swag he does in concert with his graphic designer, Sam Cangelosi. Rob is very involved in a variety of charities including the Salvation Army, Friends in Service of Heroe (F.I.S.H.) Foster, adopt, Connect, Alzheimer’s Association, and Children’s Miracle Network. Rob is a major supporter of fostering and adoption. Rob discovered his biological family in 2018.
Rob is a Midwesterner from a small town of 1,000 people near Omaha: Neola, Iowa. Rob received a communications degree from Northwest Missouri State University. He began writing satire for Rush Limbaugh right after graduation. His work has been published in at least one of Rush’s books. Rob has a wife of 22 years, Kelly, and two kids: Will, a senior at the University of Kansas, and Avery, a junior in High school. Rob’s two podcasts are entitled “What in the World is Going On?” with Rob Carson about politics, pop culture, and comedy. Rob spends his free time working out, cooking and doing home improvement.
