"F#*% you fascist!"
That's what a protestor at the End Childhood Mutilation Rally screamed into Mark Meckler's face in Nashville just over a week ago.
COSA President Mark Meckler enjoys conversing directly with crowds at his frequent event stops across the nation. Who better to talk to than the American people, right?
It's speaking with others that our ideas are spread, challenged, and adjusted, rather than speaking in an echo chamber.
At the rally hosted by the Daily Wire's Matt Walsh, Meckler was given the opportunity to speak. When he arrived at the event, he saw ANTIFA dressed in black ahead of time ready to make a scene with signs, megaphones, and horns.
When he went to chat with the thousands of activists in the crowd who were there to push for laws that end permanently altering the bodies of children, he was met by the small but vocal group of hostile bystanders.
"You're awesome, thanks for being here," Meckler respectfully said to a woman waving her arms in his face while screaming. "You're a child of God, we love you."
The love and grace displayed were not returned by the aggressive protestors.
With chants, middle fingers, and arms waving in the faces of anti-child mutilators, ANTIFA activists made their presence known.
They demanded Meckler go away, told him to "f#*% off" and said, "f#*% you fascist."
"No room for fascists in Nashville," one sign read.
"Fascists f#*% off," another sign said.
Dignity and love are absent from today's sick culture – the same culture that promotes tolerance and acceptance.
The one thing they weren't willing to do was converse about the topic of childhood mutilation. Rather than holding a civil conversation with Meckler, a woman screeched at the top of her lungs to avoid the calm, respectful manner conveyed to her.
With all the anger and yelling, Meckler later described it as the gates of hell. Yet he smiled calmly the entire time and felt no intimidation.
Although many don't have the ability to articulate their opinions or stances, Meckler's grace under pressure reveals the insanity of today's progressivism and just how vicious they can act towards another human.
