Bureaucrats have taken on the roles of all three branches of the federal government.
As Pennsylvania Rep. Cris Dush explained in a recent committee hearing, non-elected, unaccountable administrators write the laws, enforce the laws, and interpret the laws.
This isn't what the Founders wanted. They crafted the three branches of the federal government to be separate so that no one branch ever became too powerful.
Fortunately, they also predicted a time like this would come. That's why they included the Convention of States option in Article V of the Constitution. As Rep. Dush pointed out, a Convention of States is the best way to put the states and the people back in charge.
