Senator Loren Lippincott, District 34, introduced LR14 on January 15, 2025.
NE legislature passed the Convention of States resolution in 2022 with a sunset clause, an expiration date.
LR 14 is the resolution to remove that sunset clause. It calls for an Article V convention to propose amendments that address term limits, fiscal restraints, and federal overreach. A floor vote is coming soon, and we need as many Nebraskans as possible to fill the gallery in support of LR 14
