Rev. W. J. Coleman and Jacqueline Coleman volunteer for the Convention of States team in Mississippi, and they joined in part because they saw something in the Article V movement that doesn't exist in many other political movements: unity.
"This isn't about political party, but about making Mississippi and our country better. I love that," Rev. Coleman said. "It's something that can unite all people together for a common goal. These are the type of efforts it will take to make our leaders accountable."
Democrats and Republicans agree that Washington shouldn't have so much control over our daily lives, and the polling data backs that up. In all the states we've surveyed around the country, support for the Convention of States movement crosses party lines.
