- Human Trafficking at the Southern Border Human trafficking has become a multi-billion-dollar business and is the second most profitable after drugs. The cartels are making $13 billion a year. We need to enforce our immigration laws, close the open border, and stop the cartels responsible for most human exploitation. The US Government has failed us so far.
