Mark Meckler to interview eyewitness to Trump assassination attempt

Patrick Klodt, who penned an op-ed earlier this week detailing his firsthand experience at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, during which the former president narrowly survived an assassination attempt, is set to speak to Convention of States President Mark Meckler about his firsthand account of the event on Sunday’s episode of “The BattleCry.”

“People started to duck or run for cover,” Patrick recalled. “As for me, I continued to sit, not frozen by fear but disgusted by the government’s inability to do anything with competence.”

Patrick, like many others, voiced concerns about security lapses at the event, noting that “a lady from my left approached the Secret Service and stated that people were warning that there was a gunman nearby” before “the shots rang out.”

During last week’s episode of “The BattleCry,” Mark also raised questions about the gross security negligence, which seriously endangered Trump. “All I know—absolute, complete, and total abysmal failure by the Secret Service,” he said. “They failed to secure the premises. They failed to neutralize the threat before he ended up taking shots. . . . Stop DEI-ing all this garbage because it almost got Trump killed.”
