No Sunday morning network political show will be as interesting or significant as Convention of States Action (COSA) co-founder and president Mark Meckler's discussion about the urgency of returning power to the states via an Article V convention on the weekly news program "Full Measure" this Sunday, May 12, at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Check out this clip and short preview:
"Full Measure" is hosted by one of the country's most-respected and highly-decorated investigative journalists, Sharyl Attkisson.
Attkisson, who is also managing editor of "Full Measure", has been a broadcast journalist for over 30 years including stints with CBS News, PBS, and CNN.
Her piece "The Business of Congress", which examined the significant power and influence held by congressional lobbyists, earned her the Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative Journalism in 2013. Attkisson was nominated for multiple Emmys for her reporting concerning members of Congress squandering tax dollars and a congressional junket to the Copenhagen climate summit.
Attkisson also earned an Emmy Award for her report "Gunwalker: Fast and Furious", which investigated the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) sting operation between 2006 and 2011.
Memorably, it was Attkisson's reporting that forced Hillary Clinton to publicly admit that, contrary to her own claims, the former First Lady and U.S. senator did not come under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia in 2008.
Attkisson is also the author of the books The Smear: How Shady Political Operatives and Fake News Control What You See and Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth Against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obama's Washington. Both books were New York Times best sellers.
True to her pedigree, Attkisson ends each broadcast of "Full Measure" by pledging to search "for more stories to hold power accountable."
Watch Mark Meckler's thorough, fair, and wide-ranging interview with Attkisson on various Sinclair Broadcasting Group stations, including affiliates of networks such as ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and Telemundo, in addition to www.fullmeasure.news.
