Ken Barnes is the quintessential self-made man. He's the principle broker at a real estate office, he owns a real estate licensing school, and he's a volunteer with the Convention of States team in Tennessee.
We caught up with him to ask why he joined the Convention of States Project, and his answer was simple: Washington no longer has the consent of the governed.
"The federal government has gone rogue from their mission and their authorities. As my agent, they are not fulfilling what I expect of them. They are not staying in concert with the written Constitution," he said.
"They don't represent us. They don't represent the state. They're acting as independent soldiers for their own causes, and they're not constitutionally based."
The solution, as Ken explains in the video below, is to call the first-ever Article V Convention of States.
