It's time for a Convention of States!

What will it take to rebuild our foundation of government? That is the question that haunts us on a daily basis.  

We have strayed from the true path of our Founding Fathers, relinquishing our constitutional and inalienable rights on a daily basis.

For what? A bit more safety? A bit more security? 

It is past time for We The People to bypass our congressional representatives, who presently don't truly represent the people they are elected by, nor do they adhere to the Constitution as they are sworn to uphold!

It is time for a Convention of States.

The Convention of States Project has given We The People the weapon we need to stop the madness in DC. Together we have the strength to stop the mounting abuse of our rights and liberties, the faith to rely on our Constitution to accomplish this task, and the courage to stand and be heard!

This is a just and legal way to go around those who purport to represent us. Those who sit upon their thrones of office, pushing policies that infiltrate every last aspect of our lives and prosperity.

No more, I say!

We the People have had Enough. We demand our representatives do what they were elected to do. Rebuild our country. Balance our budget. Stop the mounting debt. Do away with the perks and prerogatives that should not go with their job of representing We the People.

Enough is enough.

Silence has gotten us nowhere. Shouting from the rooftops, the same. Action requires the law to be on our side, and it is. Article V is the key to our victory!

Please join me in defending what is left of our Founding Fathers' dream of America. Sign our petition. Volunteer a few hours a week to help make a difference.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention.
