At Convention of States’ 2022 Reclaiming Liberty Summit in Orlando, Florida, hundreds of COS patriots gathered to fuel up for the fight to save America. We were privileged to hear from dozens of them as they shared their COS stories and what motivates them to keep fighting.
“I spent 26 years in the military,” said Brett from Hawaii. “I understand what it means to be supportive [of] and defend the Constitution. I don’t want our country to turn into a socialist country.”
“If you want to make sure our country is safe for your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and that they don’t end up in a country that is statist, you need to get involved.”
Mark from Massachusetts shared that he is inspired by the nationwide COS network of “patriots that love our country.”
“We’re concerned about the direction it’s going, and we want to make a difference.”
“The solution is so powerful that I really think it will make a difference,” answered Roger from Ohio when asked what first attracted him to Convention of States. “Passing some law in Congress, I don’t know if that’ll make much difference. But when you amend the Constitution [through an Article V convention], you’re structurally changing the legal system of our country. It’s powerful, it’s multi-pronged — you’ve got fiscal responsibility, term limits, downsizing the federal government — it’s so powerful you can really make a difference.”
