Hillary Clinton calls spying report "fake," still believes she is above the law

Published in Blog on February 17, 2022 by Article V Patriot

There is a class of people in Washington, D.C., who believe they are above the law.

They can bend or break the rules that govern the rest of the American people without facing any consequences. "Laws for the common people don't apply to me," they think, "because I am one of the special ones who is moving our country forward."

Hillary Clinton is the prime example of this "elite" class of politicians and bureaucrats. She's broken the law so many times it's become difficult to keep track. And yet, she remains free to make millions at speaking engagements and contemplate yet another run for office.

Of course, she tries to dismiss her misdeeds as "fake news." In response to a bombshell report highlighting the Clinton's campaigns efforts to spy on then-President Donald Trump, the former failed presidential candidate accused the right-wing media of ginning up a "fake scandal."

Everyday Americans aren't fooled, of course. They've read the Durham report, and they know that Clinton hired a lawyer and a tech executive to hack into the White House and pull data supposedly linking Trump to Russia. The Russia Hoax turned out to be just that, and now Clinton and her cronies are trying to sweep it under the rug.

They might get away with it, too -- unless the American people take matters into their own hands.

The elitism and lawlessness in Washington can't be fixed by Washington politicians. There are a few good leaders, but most have the same mindset as Clinton. They like being above the law, and they're not willing to give up that power.

That's why the people and the states must come together and call an Article V Convention of States. A Convention of States is called and controlled by the states and has the power to propose constitutional amendments that permanently and effectively limit federal power. These amendments can bring our federal officials back in line with the Constitution, restrict their ability to access the federal coffers, and make sure that they live under the same laws as their constituents.

Clinton and all those like her believe they're immune from the will of We the People. A Convention of States can send them a wakeup call they'll never forget.

That's probably why Hillary has come out against the Convention of States movement. She characterized Convention of States patriots as fringe and far-right, but we know the truth: she's terrified a Convention of States will succeed at limiting the power and size of the federal government.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
