The American people saw this coming from a mile away. After tepid support for the Senate filibuster during his campaign, President Joe Biden has reversed course and now plans to ram through the entire Democratic agenda by getting rid of the filibuster.
According to a bombshell report from Axios, Biden is in meetings right now about how to "jam through" "once-in-a-lifetime historic changes to America."
Biden wants to "go even bigger and faster than anyone expected. If that means chucking the filibuster and bipartisanship, so be it."
Biden's plans encompass wide areas of American life. He wants to institute a federal takeover of the nation's election process. He wants to decimate the Second Amendment with sweeping gun bans and and an eventual gun registry. And he wants to pump trillions of taxpayer dollars into efforts to fight "climate change" and create "green jobs."
Biden "loves the growing narrative that he’s bolder and bigger-thinking than President Obama," according to Axios.
Right now, he can't get his agenda passed without securing the support of 10 Republicans in the Senate. But once the filibuster falls, he can do whatever he wants.
"We're told Biden won’t hesitate," Axios reports. "Just as he passed the $1.9 trillion COVID rescue package with zero Republican votes and zero regrets, his team sees little chance he's going to be able to rewire the government in his image if he plays by the rules of bringing in at least 10 Republicans."
This is a terrifying moment for our country. The Democrats want to fundamentally transform American into their socialist utopia fantasy-land. That means no civilian gun ownership (while criminals retain their firearms), open borders, ID-less voting, packing the Supreme Court, and permanent Democratic control of Congress by adding Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico as states.
Worst of all, it means the completion of the federal takeover of the country's state and local governments. It means the end of self-governance as we know it, and the institution of the all-powerful nanny state.
We can't let this happen. If the states had banded together and called a Convention of States already, none of Biden's agenda would be on the table. Federal jurisdiction would be constitutionally limited, and the Supreme Court would be powerless to reinterpret the Constitution to grant them these awesome powers.
But it's not too late. The Convention of States Resolution is being considered in dozens of states right now, and we only need 19 more states to call a Convention. American citizens must engage now and compel their state legislators to call the first-ever Article V Convention of States.
At this Convention, the states can propose constitutional amendments that get the federal government out of our daily lives and put We the People back in control. Once 38 states ratify those amendments, they become part of the Constitution, and the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court can't do anything to stop it.
