No one wants to talk about more ways to spend money. Between gas prices, rising expenses, and the cost of homeownership, Americans find themselves besieged by relentless financial strains.
But what about investing?
An investment is a purchase you make today with the expectation of reaping a greater reward tomorrow. Of course, investing is not always financial in nature. Beyond monetary gains, it also encompasses the sacrifices made by patriots throughout generations who laid down their lives to safeguard the nation’s liberty.
Indeed, this dedication to one’s country represents the most invaluable investment of all, and we are indebted to these heroes for their immeasurable contributions. They did not sacrifice their lives in vain—they made an intentional investment. They perceived a future in which freedom prospered, and they paid the ultimate price in order to obtain that future for subsequent generations.
But how do we repay them? How do we ensure that the freedom we enjoy because of them does not wither and fade?
By making an investment of our own.
Rarely, if ever, did the Founders speak idly. When they spoke of pledging their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor,” they did so because they knew that this kind of sacrifice would be vital to sustaining the American experiment in liberty. The same still is true today.
Freedom isn’t free. By investing in the fight for American liberty, we stake our claim on a brighter, better tomorrow, a future for our country that our children and grandchildren can enjoy.
“COS is made up of [a massive grassroots army] of volunteers that are giving up their time and their talent,” said Melba, one of our monthly donors. “There are many worthwhile causes that we could be donating to. But for me, at the top of that list is COS because that organization of volunteers and leaders is working to protect our constitutional rights and to return the power back to We the People.”
“I believe that if we do not have a government that answers to the people, then there is no power,” she added. “That is why I continue to donate to Convention of States and I will do so in the future.”
Patriots like Melba view their contributions as more than just donations; they have become shareholders in the great American future. While others complain about the present, they help shape tomorrow.
What about you?
For just $1 a day, will you answer the call and invest in your country’s future?
