What happens when the federal government tries to shut you down? The Patriots arrive in full force.
The recent Showmasters Gun Show in Chantilly, Virginia, is an inspiring three-part story of the different types of Patriots found at the gun show. (Hint, Part III might surprise you.)
Part I is the story of the many volunteers for Convention of States Virginia. They gladly sacrificed their time to spread the news of how We the People are enabled by Article V of the Constitution to rein in the federal government. (Watch a short video on how that works, here.)
These heroes for liberty include: Milt Clary, David Williams, Kimberly Certa, Tom Black, Jeff Fuller, Tina Price, Harry Herchert, Warren Wheeler, Nona Faber, Ron Sticinski, and Larry Leidtke who together contributed over 20 hours during the 3 day event.
Several worked 3-4 hour shifts each day to make this happen. There were 3-4 people on each shift, busy with talking up the solution as big as the problem to the massive crowd.
There is certainly room for more volunteers, especially as we plan to work each gun show possible. If you'd like to help be part of the solution, sign up here.
Part II tells the story of 140 concerned citizens who took action to rein in the federal government by signing the COS petition. Some even stepped up to become volunteers for Convention of States.
Part III of the Patriotic story salutes Annette Elliot who organizes the Showmaster Gun Shows. She has been an amazing benefactor working side by side with our many volunteers in Virginia, who work at the COS information tables at the various Showmasters Gun Shows in Virginia.
Milt Clary, who organized the COS table at the recent Chantilly Gun Show, recently shared the email he had received from Showmasters. He alerted the team to scroll to the very bottom where Showmasters gave a shout out to Convention of States, which included a hyperlink to the COS web site.
Last year at the Showmasters Gun Show in Roanoke, Virginia, Elliot allowed COS Virginia volunteers, Dennis Denton and Jody Martin, to give several Convention of States messages on the intercom system during the weekend.
Also, Elliot invited them to do a presentation at a concealed carry class. Unfortunately, Dennis Denton reported, they couldn't take her up on that offer, because they were too busy collecting over 200 petitions from the public! (Want to help? Sign up here!)
Since Denton and Martin were too busy to leave the COS information table, she came to them for a FB Live interview which has secured nearly 1000 views. You can watch that here.
