It’s time for the truth to be told about what is really happening. You won’t hear it from the usual media outlets because they have all become part of the ‘establishment’.
All you get from the regular nightly news shows are the same ‘approved’ talking points. Anything else gets censored and ignored.
Instead, seek out local sources for news content.
Also, become a regular consumer of the content that appears here on the COS website. We endeavor to provide you with actual facts and information so that you can make informed decisions when you go to the polls.
And please, please go to the polls. The most recent AP-NORC survey shows more than 85% of Americans think the country is headed in the wrong direction. Yet we never get anywhere near that number of voters to turn out for any election cycle. Is it any wonder why things have gotten so bad?
But just voting bad people out of office won’t be enough. The system itself has become the problem and is almost guaranteed to corrupt any neophyte politician in due time.
Thankfully the Constitution provides the solution as big as the problem: “We the People” have the power to reform the system by acting through our state legislatures to call an Article V Convention of States.
Term limits, balanced budgets, and preventing government overreach are the key topics of the COS resolution that has already passed in 19 states and is under review in 21 more.
Once 34 states have passed the resolution, Congress must call the convention and the work on amendments to the Constitution can begin in earnest.
