Federal Overreach influences community division

Published in Blog on January 12, 2022 by Dakota Windancer

The most-cited Federalist Paper essay by justices of the Supreme court is number 78 where Alexander Hamilton said: "The judiciary branch of the proposed government would be the weakest of the three branches because it had no influence over either the sword or the purse."

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was caught recently pushing lies about the coronavirus in an effort to ram through Joe Biden's federal vaccine injections on Americans.

Sotomayor claimed that: "Over 100,000 children which we've never had before, are in serious condition, many on ventilators."

Numerous fact-checkers have proven her claim as false. In reality, there are fewer than 3,500 children in hospitals from coronavirus.

The CDC Director, Rochelle Walensky, was forced to come forward and clarify that the number of children hospitalized with COVID-19 is nowhere close to the statistic put forth by Sotomayor.

In an interview with Fox News, Walensky also stated that COVID hospitalizations generally include patients who go to hospitals for other reasons and just happen to test positive while they are there.

Senator Rand Paul in response to this asks: "Is Fauci advising Justice Sotomayor?"

Fear tactics, along with false and hyperbolic language comes down from on high and confirmation bias spreads the lie as a truth.

Here in my own state of Florida, the community I live in has been affected by the false narratives of nefarious agenda and misinformation.

The latest weaponization of these similar scare tactics, in the community where I live, is the arbitrary exclusion of the unvaccinated for a planned Valentine's Day party.

The sponsors of this event are forcing all attendees to show proof of experimental vaccination. Isn't it interesting — a celebration of love exclusive to certain members only?

The Cancel Culture is alive and well in the state of Florida. Even though the policy of our Governor reflects inclusivity, there are the factions, fueled by the false narratives, who take it upon themselves to do otherwise.

Like a cancer, the archetype of Socialist and Authoritarian is spreading throughout community life here in the free state of Florida.

Many liberty loving citizens here in Florida are frustrated with being cancelled by the groupthink of cancel culture and virtue signaling.

The good news is that when trouble is on your own doorstep it becomes a call to action.

The battle is much larger than a Valentine's Day celebration. The solution for ridding America of these toxic confederations our forefather's warned us about resides within Article V Convention of States.

The overreach of federal mandates and policy are now falsely giving people the right to think they can enforce unconstitutional policy and behavior.

If it isn't clear by now that the policies of this current administration are further dividing Americans and that federal overreach is out of control, then there is none so blind than those who refuse to see!

We need amendments to our Constitution, through the use of Article V, which will bring an end to divisive policies made by the aristocracy residing in our federal government.

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention. You can find a copy of the model resolution and the Article V Pocket Guide (which explains the process and answers many questions) here: https://conventionofstates.com/handbook_pdf

I ask that you support Convention of States and consider becoming a co-sponsor. Please respond to my request by informing the national COS team of your position, or sending them any questions you may have:
