SLIDE TWO
"Fear is the foundation of most governments." John Adams
The corrupt D.C. decision-makers will stop at nothing to retain their power and control over “We the People”.
The misinformation that circulates today has been disseminated for a reason. Simply put, it is a scare tactic that the elites deploy to maintain a vice grip on power. They must keep us divided to succeed, and their biggest fear is a united, well-informed electorate.
Convention of States Action was formed for precisely this reason.
Convention of States Action's Mission: Build history's largest, most engaged Army of Self-Governing Activists.
The framers trusted us to keep a vigilant watch over the precious republic they bequeathed us and to protect her.
In Federalist No. 85, Alexander Hamilton admonishes the reader:
"Let us now pause and ask ourselves whether, in the course of these papers, the proposed constitution has not been satisfactorily vindicated from the aspersions thrown upon it, and whether it has not been shewn to be worthy of the public approbation, and necessary to the public safety and prosperity. Every man is bound to answer these questions to himself, according to the best of his conscience and understanding, and to act agreeably to the genuine and sober dictates of his judgment. This is a duty from which nothing can give him a dispensation. …Let him beware of an obstinate adherence to party. Let him reflect that the object upon which he is to decide is not a particular interest of the community but the very existence of the nation. And let him remember that a majority of America has already given its sanction to the plan, which he is to approve or reject."
Under the Framer's system of government, WE THE PEOPLE, ARE RESPONSIBLE for staying informed and holding government officials accountable. We have taken it for granted for far too long and become complacent, ignorant, and trusting. Living busy, comfortable modern lives, we have followed like sheep as the Federal Government leads us off a cliff into an abyss where the Constitution once was.
Too much confusing and conflicting information everywhere, you say? How can you determine what is true and, more importantly, what is false? After all, 99.99% of us are not constitutional scholars. We do not need to be.
We need to accept the responsibility left to us by the framers. Resolve to educate yourself. Do not leave it in anyone else's hands. Your children’s and grandchildren’s future depend on you learning the truth.
The truth is out there: quit listening to the “talking heads” and become the self-governing citizen activist that the framers warned us to remain.
