Tesla and SpaceX Founder Elon Musk is handing out massive checks to swing state voters who sign his petition supporting the First and Second Amendments.
“The First and Second Amendments guarantee freedom of speech and the right to bear arms,” the petition states. “By signing below, I am pledging my support for the First and Second Amendments.”
“The reason [the Founding Fathers] had the First Amendment,” the X President said at an event over the weekend, “was because, the countries people came from, if you spake your mind, you'd be imprisoned or killed. That's why you have it. It's really important.”
“And then, the right to bear arms is also really important,” he added. “The Second Amendment is there to protect the First Amendment.”

On Saturday, Musk presented Pennsylvania resident John Dreher with a million-dollar check, pledging to make similar donations every day until Election Day.
Dreher, who received the check from Musk in person, encouraged voters to “get out and vote early.”
“For guys my age who are working hard every day, it’s really important to get out and vote,” he said. “Anything can happen on election day. There’s a lot of things that can go wrong and prevent you from voting, so if you can get your vote in early, you know your ballot is in, and you don’t have to worry about it.”
“The most important thing that you can do, and what I'm asking everyone to do, is make sure that you're registered to vote and then vote early,” Musk agreed. “Everyone you know, everyone you meet, everyone you run into, register them to vote and then get them to vote immediately.”

The pro-First and Second Amendments petition is backed by the billionaire's America PAC, which aims to promote secure borders, safe cities, free speech, sensible spending, a fair justice system, and self-defense. The wealthiest man in the world, Musk has reportedly invested $75 million into the PAC.
The PAC’s petition offer is only eligible to registered voters in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia. In addition to the randomly selected million-dollar prizes, Musk has also promised smaller cash incentives to those who sign and refer others to sign the petition.
“This election is the most important election of our lifetime,” Musk explained. “This is no ordinary election.”
