Educate Your Future Delegates to Protect the Constitution

Got tyranny in the nation? Convention of States has the answer. In five minutes, you can be part of the solution.

We all know the Constitution was written for We the People. But did you know we have a unique tool in Article V of the Constitution to save America when the federal government goes rogue?

With tremendous foresight, the Framers of the Constitution gave state legislators a unique role to call a Convention of States in the event of federal tyranny. This solution will be most effective when We the People get involved by educating our family, friends, neighbors, state legislators and candidates!

Therefore, we're putting on a summer speaker series, especially for state legislators. It's called The States' Role in Restoring Federalism, and it's going to be amazing. 

And now candidates for the legislature in Virginia have also been invited! This process is a bit different than the previous link specific to state legislators.

So, we need your help to contact them with three simple steps:

First, find your house district here.

Second, find your candidate for delegate here.

Third, contact your candidate with the following message:

Petition your state legislator

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention.
