Doug Dorn is a husband, father, Army veteran, and son of an Army veteran. He's risked his life for his country, and he believes the United States is "the greatest nation this world has ever seen."
That's why he's so appalled at the egregious overreach of the federal government.
In a recent testimony before a Wisconsin legislative committee, Doug named two ways the federal government has encroached on our liberties and made our nation worse: Obamacare and Common Core.
Obamacare increased the Dorn's premium payments by tenfold while also increasing their deductible. Common Core, which Doug's wife has experience with as a substitute teacher, has imposed "equitable" and "inclusive" propaganda on our students without improving their math or reading skills.
"The federal government is out of control in many ways and so overgrown our Founders would never recognize it," he said.
As Doug explains, the solution is an Article V Convention of States.
"After years of watching people speak boldly on the campaign trail and act weakly once taking office, I search for a way to truly affect positive change," he said.
He found the Convention of States Project and learned how Article V allows the people and the states to reduce federal power and re-take control of our country's future.
A Convention of States can propose constitutional amendments that would get the feds out of healthcare and make Obamacare unconstitutional. It could also propose amendments that get the feds out of education, eliminate the Department of Education, and put parents back in charge of their children's schooling.
