We know DC won't fix itself. How? Because politicians have been telling us every two years that they'll go to Washington and "shake things up," but they never do. The swamp sucks them in like every other politician and things go on as before.
The only way to truly change the game in DC is by calling the first-ever Article V Convention of States. A Convention of States can propose constitutional amendments that limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose term limits on federal officials, and force Congress to be fiscally responsible.
Will Washington ever do any of those things? We doubt it.
That's why Wisconsin Rep. Rob Vos told his colleagues that a vote against the Convention of States Resolution is a vote for the status quo in DC.
