ATTN: Federal Government of the United States
As a United States citizen, I’d like to kindly remind you that I do not need you to “care” about me. Your job is not to provide freedom, only to protect it. Freedom is already given to us through God and nature. It does not come from you.
Please kindly note that who I am as a person is none of your business. My actions are only relevant to you in regard to whether or not those actions infringe upon the rights of other Americans.
In most instances, the actions of the individual are held accountable by the laws of the local government, which is still out of your jurisdiction. I pay you a certain amount of my income to ensure you accomplish this goal and nothing more.
Need I remind you that this is the only thing you are good for? I do not need you to know any of my personal preferences, whether it be who I marry, how I spend my money, what my skin color is, what my gender is, how I worship, what weapons I own, what my health status is, how many kids I have, where they go to school, what I teach them, nor--most of all--who I’m voting for.
I do not need any politicians to “take care” of me.
Why? Because you are limited.
We the People designed you that way. It’s up to us as individuals in a free society to heal contention amongst our own households and with our neighbors, friends, and acquaintances. It’s up to us as free, self-governing individuals to help those that may be less fortunate or disenfranchised. Not you. You can stay out of it.
If you couldn’t tell, We the People can do much more for one another and for ourselves than you ever will. If we ever find the need to call upon you, you’ll hear from us through due process and within your regional scope of accountability.
From here on out, you can simply take your little payment out of my paycheck and leave me alone. It never bodes well for tyranny when freedom has to remind it to tread lightly.
Federal government, you and I cannot be neighbors. We cannot be friends. We are certainly not family. We can’t even be enemies, because you are not an individual. You are merely an instrument device designed by the people, which can also be altered by the people.
We the People do not belong to you. You belong to us.
We are more powerful than you, because we are free individuals. The United States government is not a free individual.
Please know your place.
Sincerely,
An American Individual
