Team Hawaii bolstered for fifth capitol visit!

Published in Hottest Blog on February 15, 2019 by Mark Kenneth White

The Arkansas House win lifted the Hawaii team's spirit. Pictured left to right: Rita Kama-Kimura, Stephen Bischoff, Emil Svrcina, Matt Satterlee, Jake Wilson, Linda Sansone, Jack Van Osdol, Donna Van Osdol, Mark White, and Aurora Wilson.

With uplifted spirits just three hours after the incredible Arkansas House win, the Convention of States Hawaii team conducted their fifth "Surge Wednesday" visit at the Aloha State Capitol!

Two new members, Matt Satterlee and Linda Sansone, joined two of our four groups embarking on another mid-week visit to all state legislative offices.

Pictured left, State Director Mark White (R) and District Captain Stephen Bischoff (L) provide Convention of States material to Jolyn Rosa (Center) in Rep D. Kobayashi's office. Picture right, from the team's February 6th visit, Co-sponsor Rep. Brower accepts handouts from Ariel Wilson.

The key handout materials for February 13th included a surge article by Professor Natelson, a testimonial flyer by Senator Tom Coburn, and most importantly a locally-printed palm card notifying lawmakers that the Arkansas House had just passed the Convention of States resolution!

The Convention of States Hawaii team will be visiting the capitol for two more weeks through February to complete the Surge Wednesday campaign.

To visit your legislator meet the team each Wednesday at 1:00pm in the ground level courtyard of the capitol building.
